Are Electronic Vaporizers Really Less Harmful Than Traditional Cigarettes?
An electronic cigar is an electronically operated device that replicates the actual act of smoking tobacco. It is composed of a device much like a cigarette, called a “box”, an atomizer, and a fuel like a cartridge or gel. Instead of smoke, the user inhalls vapor instead. As such, the act of using an electronic cigar is often described as “smoking” rather than smoking tobacco.
Electronic Cigarettes have become very popular during the last decade roughly. Both smokers and non-smokers alike have discovered the many benefits of these products. But the recent controversy over the dangers of electronic cigarettes has caused many health professionals to urge the public to stop smoking all together. The unit, they claim, do not work very well enough to meet up their stated public health objectives.
Many public health experts argue that electric cigarettes certainly are a gateway to regular smoking because they mimic the act of smoking, yet usually do not offer the physical pleasure of smoking. For instance, among high school students, those that used to smoke cigarettes however now use electronic cigarettes will smoke cigarettes. This is because smoking allows them to release stress and tension through the act of smoking, while using these products does not. But the use of electronic cigarettes among teenagers may be harmful.
Among adults, the dangers of e-arette use haven’t been thoroughly studied. But there are already some high profile studies out there which have shown that teenagers who regularly use e-cigs are more likely to smoke regular tobacco cigarettes than those who rarely or never use e-cigs at all. Furthermore, also, they are more prone to use other tobacco products.
The brain has an impact on how we feel about things. If you think about it, if you want smoking a cigarette and wake up in the morning with a craving for something sweet and nice, you are experiencing brain changes. The FDA itself isn’t taking any action against vapors. Vaping doesn’t appear to pose any real harm to people. Actually, it’s probably safer than smoking tobacco cigarettes. When you’re not inhaling any chemical fumes, you’re still getting nicotine and other toxins during your skin, mouth and lungs. But the FDA says that e-cigs don’t pose any serious threats to your wellbeing, like regular cigarettes do.
Another reason the FDA isn’t jumping on the “tobacco cigarettes versus vapors” bandwagon, is they realize that the existing generation EightVape of smokers keeps growing up with electronic cigarettes. That means there are less harmful chemicals used, so we won’t have just as much danger when we grow older. Some people argue that the flavorings are less harmful than methods or similar chemicals, but everyone understands you can still taste the chemicals which are in lots of traditional cigarettes.
Why the concern? One reason is that there are so many e-cigarettes in the marketplace. They are cheaper to create, which means that companies can truly add more flavors. Consequently, many flavors are actually quite harmful to your lungs. The problem is they still don’t contain nicotine, so that they do not have any of the harmful chemicals that regular cigarettes do. They’re still, however, very similar to cigarette smoke in that they are full of a large number of chemicals that are harmful to your lungs.
